GovTools
GovTools is an open source tool, which was also developed by us. GovTools bundles the best open source projects in the field of “decryption”. Our intuitive user interface helps with the extraction of password hashes and the preparation of data.
Wordlist-Attacks
In wordlist attacks, possible password candidates are checked in a wordlist with the hash to be decrypted. The wordlist entries can in turn be permuted or changed using so-called “rules”. The best and most successful “rules” are already integrated in GovCracker. In addition to so-called wordlist attacks, mask, combinator and hybrid attacks are also possible.
Automatic-Attacks
The “Automatic-Attack” and “Batchjobs” functions were invented and developed by us. Automatic-Attack is for users who have no prior knowledge of decryption. GovCracker independently analyzes the best attack strategies and starts the decryption attempts fully automatically. You can collect attack strategies in “Batchjobs” and launch them together.
